- Flooding in Dublin and Cork City, Ireland
-The Irish Coast Guard and Met Éireann have issued a weather alert for Dublin and Cork City of Ireland. Met Éireann warns of very high tides and 25mm of rainfall.
-Flooding expected in low-lying areas of Cork city, in parts of Kilkenny city and on the Gorey to Wexford Road.
-High tides have already caused flooding in Clontarf. Dublin City Council have a stock of sandbags for use in Sandymount and Clontarf. Coastal towns in the county including in Cobh, Bantry and Youghal are also flooded.
-The 2011 floods in Europe destroyed thousands of homes in Ireland. Flood affected Ireland, Italy, France, parts of North Africa.

- M 6.3 very strong shallow earthquake Off the West Coast of Baja California (@ 11 km depth) with epicenter located 262 km SSW of Avalon. Light shaking of MMI IV will have felt by the people of Rosarito. People of Primo Tapia, Tijuana, Camalu, Murrieta, Tecate, San Diego, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Santa Ana, Poway, Ramona, Santee, Riverside, Temecula, Huntington Beach, Laguna Niguel, Camarilla and Anaheim will have felt weak shaking of MMI II-III.
10:32 UTC (local time Friday, December 14, 2012 at 02:36 AM @ epicenter) - M 5.2 moderate earthquake Offshore Guatemala (@ 46 km depth) with epicenter located 42 km SSE of Champerico. Light to weak shaking will have felt by the people of Pueblo Nuevo Tiquisate, Nueva Concepcion and Retalhuleu.
04:04 UTC (local time Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 10:04 PM @ epicenter) - M 4.7 moderate shallow earthquake in Myanmar (@ 24 km depth) with epicenter located 86 km NNW from Mandalay. Weak tremor will have felt as far as Monywa and Meiktila.

-High tides caused flooding in Long Beach, California
-King tides occurs several times in a year when the Earth, moon and sun align in a way that increases gravitational pull on the Earth’s oceans, raising water levels several feet above normal high tides.

-Plume rises 4 km above the surface.
-Lavas from the Kamchatka Russia volcano Plosky Tolbachik destroyed two nearby scientific camps this November.

- Tropical Cyclone Evan
-As of 12:00 UTC, TC Evan was located 585 nm east-northeast of Nadi, Fiji.
-Cyclone Evan is expected to hit Fiji on Sunday and is forecast to intensify into a category four or five storm.
-Cyclone Evan has killed 4 people in Samao before reaching Fiji. A state of disaster has been declared in Samoa.

- Cold wave in Bulgaria
-Severe Cold killed three people in Bulgaria. Bodies were found in Dupnitsa and Kyustendil in southwestern Bulgaria.
-Code orange alert is issued in the western Kyustendil and Pernik region of Bulgaria. A more moderate code yellow has been declared for 15 regions – Blagoevgrad, Sofia, Sofia City, Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Pleven, Lovech, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Ruse, Targovishte, Razgrad, Shumen and Silistra.
-In western Bulgaria, the temperature is expected to fall to minus 22C. - Tornado in Cromwell, New Zealand
-Tornado destroyed several houses in Cromwell in Central Otago.
-No injury reported.
