  • M 3.7 light shallow earthquake in Ontario-Quebec Border Region, Canada (@ 16 km depth) with epicenter located 6 km SW of Hawkesbury. It will have well felt by the people of Buckingham, Vankleek hill, Hawkesbury, Ottawa and Montreal.

  • M 3.3 weak shallow earthquake in Santa Monica Bay, California (@ 11 km depth) with epicenter located 15 km W from Manhattan Beach. It will have well felt by the people of Los Angeles, El Segundo, Culver City, Venice, Marina del Rey and Santa Monica.

  • M 5.8 strong shallow earthquake in Minahasa, Sulawesi, Indonesia (@ 17 km depth) with epicenter located 72 km ENE of Bunobogu. Light shaking of MMI IV will have felt by the people of Gorontalo.

  • Flooding in Otok Virje, Croatia
    -More than 60 houses flooded when river Drava burst its banks.
    -Hundreds of people evacuated from village of Otok Virje.
    -2002 European floods caused damage of billions of euros in the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania and Croatia.
