- Earthquake in Mindanao, Philippines
-Magnitude 6.1 strong earthquake hit Mindanao, Philippines. The epicenter was located 7 km ESE of Burgos. The USGS revised the magnitude from 6.4 to 6.1.
-The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology measured magnitude 6.5 earthquake and warned that aftershocks can be expected.
-Following USGS PAGER MAP, strong shaking of MMI VI was felt by the people of Burgos, Cortes, Tigao, Mabahin, Tago and Buenavista. People of Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Mantampay, Mandaue City and Cebu City felt weak shaking of MMI III. A 7.6-magnitude earthquake on August 31 in Philippines triggered a tsunami alert.

- M 4.5 moderate earthquake in Myanmar-India border region (@ 99 km depth) with epicenter located 90 km SSE of Phek. Just a weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Thoubal, Imphal and Kakching.
21:31 UTC (local time Saturday, November 03, 2012 at 04:01 AM @ epicenter) - M 6.1 strong earthquake in Mindanao, Philippines (@ 38 km depth) with epicenter located just 7 km ESE of Burgos. Strong shaking of MMI VI will have felt by the people of Burgos, Cortes, Tigao, Mabahin, Tago and Buenavista. People of Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Mantampay, Mandaue City and Cebu City will have felt weak shaking of MMI III. A 7.6-magnitude earthquake on August 31 in Philippines triggered a tsunami alert.

-The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology measured magnitude 6.5 earthquake and warned that aftershocks can be expected.
-The USGS revised the magnitude from 6.4 to 6.1. - M 5.5 strong sea quake in near the East Coast of Kamchatka, Russia (@ 6 km depth) with epicenter located 43 km SSE of Ust'-Kamchatsk Staryy. Moderate shaking of MMI V will have felt by the people of Ust'-Kamchatsk Staryy.
01:52 UTC (local time Friday, November 02, 2012 at 01:52 PM @ epicenter) - M 3.3 weak shallow earthquake in Nevada with epicenter located 19 km NNE from Ruby Valley. It will have well felt by the people of Lee, Spring Creek and Elko.

- Costa Rica/Poas recent volcanic activity
-Poas volcano spewed mud and ash more than 1,500 feet into the air above Poás Volcano National Park.
-Loud rumble was even felt across Alajuela province.
-The Poás Volcano, (Spanish: Volcán Poás) which is an active stratovolcano in central Costa Rica has erupted 39 times since 1828.

- Tropical Storm Rosa
-As of 09:00 UTC, TS Rosa was located 1400 km SW of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
-Rosa is forecast to continue gradually weakening. No threat to land.
Natural Disaster News
- A Green Alert is issued in Costa Rica due to seismic activity. Following Costa Rica’s National Emergency Commission (CNE, in Spanish), seven earthquakes (Magnitude 2.2-3.1) have occurred from the fault in Escazu, which goes from San Antonio of Escazu to the vicinity of San Antonio, Belen. More than 2,000 aftershocks have been recorded in the province of Guanacaste since the 7.6 magnitude earthquake hit Costa Rica on September 5th, 2012.
- A Health Alert is issued due to wildfire in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. Fire is under control but smoke has affected the parts of the Rio Grande valley south of Albuquerque.
- Video of a UFO entering Popocatépetl volcano located in Mexico is captured by Mexican media company Televisa. Video of cigar shaped UFO was recorded by a Televisa-owned camera that monitors the volcano.
This UFO incident is same as recent UFO over Kentucky. Similar cigar shaped UFO was observed in Pike County of Kentucky on October 16. - Work at the site of a giant sink hole in southeast Louisiana is currently halted due to tremors in the area. Earlier around 150 homes in the Bayou Corne neighborhood were evacuated after a giant sinkhole opened up on the nearby Texas-Brine property.
- Preliminary EM-DAT figures show that during the first six month of 2012, around 143 natural disasters occurred which killed over 2,500 people and affected almost 61 million others. Natural disaster caused more than US$ 6.9 billion of economic damages. About 86 countries experienced at least one natural disaster, with the most-affected countries being Afghanistan, the United States and the Philippines.
