- Flooding in Andhra Pradesh, India
-Heavy rainfall caused flooding across Andhra Pradesh, India.
-Nine people reported to be killed. Four people were killed when a wall collapsed on them at Adityanagar, Miyapur. Five other were killed in a similar incident at Balanagar industrial area.
-Six fishermen are still missing in the Bay of Bengal area.
-Flood disaster also affected the low-lying areas in Warangal, Adilabad, Nalgonda, Krishna and East Godavari districts.
-According to local Met office, more heavy rain is forecast over north coastal Andhra and Telangana during the next 48 hours.

20:00 UTC (local time Wednesday, September 05, 2012 at 04:00 AM @ epicenter) - M 3.1 light shallow earthquake in Switzerland (@ 1 km depth) with epicenter located 39 km S Zurich. It will have well felt by the people of Vitznau, Schwyz and Zurich. Earthquake disasters in Switzerland are rare.

- Flash floods in Hale County, Alabama
-Multiple roads in hale closed due to flooding, mainly along AL hwy 25 ne of Greensboro.
-Flash floods warning is in effect for Tuscaloosa and Hale County in West Central Alabama.

Serious flooding situation across Dallas County including Selma. - Flash floods in Bicol, Philippines
-A shallow low-pressure area (SLPA) off Bicol is expected to bring heavy rainfall along with flash floods.
-LPA is forecast to become a cyclone (Karen) which will bring flash floods and landslides over parts of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. - Flash floods in Rukum, Nepal
-Floods in the Bheri river damaged a house and a school building at Athbiskot VDC.
