Flash floods reported in Carbondale, Illinois along with thunderstorms. Multiple reports from Twitter show that some pretty impressive flooding has hit Carbondale area. The photo above (top) was posted to Twitter by Jeff Aronson.
There are also reports of very high waters near railroad tracks into Carbondale which is along US 51 north of Carbondale, heading south into town.
Highway 13 closed in Carbondale.
Carbondale is a city in Jackson County, in the state of Illinois, within the Southern Illinois region.
