- Strong storms in Missouri
-Three died after strong storm in southern Missouri.
-The storm struck Missouri, Illinois and Kentucky with hardest hit Diehlstadt village, about 100 miles south of St. Louis.
-Hailstorms also also reported in parts of southern Illinois and northwestern Kentucky.
-Missouri is a U.S. state located in the Midwestern United States, bordered by Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska. - Heavy flooding in Victoria, Australia
-About 30 residents of Taralgon evacuated after overflowing of Traralgon Creek. They are taking shelter in reguge center.
-Princes Highway, Monaro Highway and South Gippslands Highway closed.
-10,000 Victorians are now without electricity.
-Heavy rainfall is predicted to hit Sydney today afternoon.

- M 5.8 strong seaquake in Eastern Hoshu, Japan (@ 17 km depth) with epicenter located 79km ESE of Ohara. Light shaking of MMI IV will have felt by the people of Ohara, Katsuura, Hasaki, Mobara, Asahi, Togane and Chiba. Weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Yokohama, Tokyo and Mito.
Since 1900, three great earthquakes occurred off Japan and three north of Hokkaido.
19:31 UTC (local time Wednesday, June 06, 2012 at 04:31 AM @ epicenter) - M 3.6 light shallow earthquake in Island of Hawaii, Hawaii (@ 1 km depth) with epicenter located 13 km SSW from Volcano. Light to weak shaking will have felt by the people of Volcano, Pahala, Mountain View, Hawaiian Acres, Ainaloa, Orchidlands Estates, Hawaiian Paradise Park, Hilo, Holualoa, Kailua-Kona and Kalaoa.
12:43 UTC (local time Tuesday, June 05, 2012 at 02:43 AM @ epicenter) - M 4.0 light shallow earthquake in Alaska (@ 7 km depth) with epicenter located 93 km NW from Skwentna. Weak shaking will have felt by the people of Petersville and Nikolai.
11:19 UTC (local time Tuesday, June 05, 2012 at 03:19 AM @ epicenter) - M 5.6 moderate shallow earthquake in Northern Sumatra, Indonesia (@ 36 km depth) with epicenter located 75 km (46 miles) W of Banda Aceh. Light to weak shaking will have felt by the people of Banda Aceh, Sabang, Sigli, Reuleuet and Meulaboh.
11:01 UTC (local time Tuesday, June 05, 2012 at 06:01 PM @ epicenter) - M 3.0 weak shallow earthquake in Bosnia and Herzegovina (@ 2 km depth) with epicenter located 7 km NE Gracanica. Weak shaking will have felt by the people of Tuzla.
08:15 UTC (local time 10:15; 2012/06/05 @ epicenter) - M 5.2 moderate earthquake in Vanuatu (@ 81 km depth) with epicenter located 46 km S of Port-Vila. Just a weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Vila.
07:20 UTC (local time Tuesday, June 05, 2012 at 06:20 PM @ epicenter) - M 4.3 light earthquake in Guatemala (@ 75 km depth) with epicenter located 46 km (28 miles) SSW of Escuintla. Weak shaking will have felt even in Guatemala city.

-Mild eruptive activity reported in Manam volcano.
-People living around Manam Island off Madang in Papua New Guinea are said to be alert.
-Manam, known locally as Manam Motu, is an island located in the Bismarck Sea across the Stephan Strait from Yawar on the northeast coast of mainland Papua New Guinea.

-Over 30 villages in Udalguri district affected by recent flooding.
-About 20,000 people are taking shelter in schools and high-lying areas.
-Sharp increase in water levels of major rivers, including Brahmaputra and Barak.
