  • Flooding in Cuba
    -Around 500 people evacuated after flooding in Mayabeque province of northwest Cuba.
    -About 100 homes reported to be flooded. Many roads washed out.
    -Six hours continuous rainfall caused flooding in the area.
    -Cuba, officially the Republic of Cuba, is an island country in the Caribbean.

Just a weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Punta de Burica, Sona, Tonosi, San Francisco, Rio de Jesus, Las Palmas, Santiago, Las Tablas, Chitre, Aguadulce and Pocri.

    M 6.6 another very strong earthquake South of Panama after 2 hours with epicenter located 325 km S from David. Far from the residential areas to cause any damage.

    Slight tremor was felt in parts of  Costa Rica and El Salvador.
  • M 4.3 light earthquake in Kashmir-Xinjiang Border Region (@ 65 km depth) with epicenter located 112 km S Hetian. Just a weak shaking will have felt around epicenter.

  • M 4.8 moderate very shallow aftershocks in Northern Italy (@ 6 km depth) with epicenter located 55 km NNW of Bologna. Light shaking of MMI IV will have felt by the people of Bologna, Verona and Parma. Weak shaking will have felt by the people of Florence, Genoa, Milan, Padova and Vicenza of Italy.   • M 3.0 weak shallow earthquake in Northern California with epicenter located just 3 km NNW from Almanor. Weak shaking will have felt by the people of Prattville, Chester and Susanville.

  • M 4.2 moderate shallow earthquake in South Island of New Zealand (@ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 17 km E of Christchurch. Light shaking of MMI IV will have felt by the people of Lyttelton, Christchurch and Kaiapoi. Since 1900 there have been 15 M 7.5+ earthquakes recorded near New Zealand.

  • Flooding in San Diego beaches, California
    -National Weather Service forecasters predicts that high tides and large surf could cause flooding in along low-lying beaches in San Diego County.
    -Coastal flooding and beach erosion is expected this Sunday and Monday evenings.
  • Flooding in Sussex, England
    -Seventeen different flash flood incidents reported across West Sussex. Findon, Littlehampton, Rustington, Clapham, Haywards Heath, East Grinstead and Turners Hill.

  • Typhoon Mawar
    -Typhoon 04w (Mawar) is located approximately 465 nm south-southwest of Kadena AB, Okinawa.
    -A bridge reported to be collapsed in Brgy Amoid 2, San Mateo, Rizal. Five workers of Manila Water were injured (1 severely injured).
    -Flooding reported in Brgy malpalon, Calintaan, Occidental Mindoro. Brgy Road connecting Sitio Tapiken and Sitio Kiwit, Brgy sagrada, Busuanga, Palawn reported to be flooded.

  • Thundering and Lightning in Dhading, Nepal
    -Two killed and two other injured when lightning struck houses at Mahadevsthan VDC-5 in Dhading district of Nepal [Recent Natural Disasters In Nepal]
    -At least 30 houses reported to be damaged by the lightning.
