- Flooding in Essex and Suffolk, England
-Passengers of a car and a school bus rescued in Debenham.
-Flood warnings issued for both Essex and Suffolk counties of England.
-A12 Kelvedon road in Essex closed. Roads in Heybridge, Clacton, Horsley Cross, Colchester, Eight Ash Green, Great Tey and Great Chesterford also flooded.
Flood warning in Essex: For the River Brain from Black Notley to Witham, the River Colne from Castle Hedingham to Halstead and the Bumpstead Brook at Steeple Bumpstead.
Flood warnings in Suffolk: for the River Lark, the Rattlesden River, the River Box, River Brett and the Stour Brook at Haverhill.

19:40 UTC (local time 22:40; 2012/05/03 @ epicenter) - M 5.2 moderate shallow sea quake north of Honduras (@ 24 km depth)) with epicenter located 121 km W of Swan Island. Light to weak shaking will have experienced by the people of Trujillo (Honduras) and Belmopan (Belize).
18:08 UTC (local time Thursday, May 03, 2012 at 12:08 PM @ epicenter) - M 5.0 moderate very shallow earthquake in Western Turkey (@ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 80 km WSW from Kutahya. Weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt as far as Ankara.
15:20 UTC (local time Thursday, May 03, 2012 at 06:20 PM @ epicenter) - M 4.7 moderate shallow earthquake in Southern Greece (@ 22 km depth) with epicenter located 11 km E of Zakynthos. Weak shaking will have felt by the people of Patrai.
15:17 UTC (local time Thursday, May 03, 2012 at 06:17 PM @ epicenter) - M 3.8 light shallow earthquake in Portugal (@ 12 km depth) with epicenter located 13 km NE São brás de alportel. Weak shaking will have felt as far as Huelva.
14:16 UTC (local time 15:16; 2012/05/03 @ epicenter) - M 5.2 moderate shallow earthquake in Gansu-Nei Mongol Border Region, China (@ 13 km depth) with epicenter located 114 km NE of Yumen. Light shaking will have felt by the people of Jiayuguan and Jiuquan. People of Yumen and Laoximiao will have experienced just a weak shaking.
10:19 UTC (local time Thursday, May 03, 2012 at 06:19 PM @ epicenter) - M 5.5 very strong shallow earthquake in Iran-Iraq border region (@ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 80 km NW of Dezful, Iran. Moderate shaking of MMI V will have felt by the people of Dehloran and Abdanan. Peope of Kuhdasht, Shush, `Ali al Gharbi, Al `Amarah and Khorramabad will have felt light shaking of MMI IV. Weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Ahvaz, Kahriz, Kermanshah and Arak.

Legnica is a town in south-western Poland, in Silesia, in the central part of Lower Silesia with population of 106,033. - M 3.3 weak very shallow earthquake in Turkey-Iran border region (@ 2 km depth) with epicenter located 7 km W Salmas. People of Khoy will have felt weak shaking of MMI II-III.
06:47 UTC (local time 10:17; 2012/05/03 @ epicenter) - M 4.7 moderate deep earthquake in Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan (@ 144 km depth) with epicenter located 88 km S of Faizabad. Weak tremor will have felt around epicenter area.
06:42 UTC (local time Thursday, May 03, 2012 at 11:12 AM @ epicenter) - M 3.1 weak shallow earthquake in Southern Alaska (@ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 21 km SE from Chickaloon. Weak shaking will have felt as far as Anchorage.
