Update
All the three earthquake were recorded in the interval of three hours. Other small weak (less than magnitude 3) tremors were also reported from the same area. However, there is no any report of damage or injury.

Though various sites are writing of two quakes to hit Maharashtra and Gujarat of India. Indian seismological mentions three quakes.
M 4.0 @ 7 km depth in Rann of Kachchh, Gujarat
M 4.9 @ 10 km depth in Satara district of Maharashtra.
M 4.0 @ 10 km depth Near Ratnagiri, Maharashtra.

Update
USGS and EMSC have so far reported about only one quake. M 4.3 earthquake is reported by USGS with epicenter located 97 km NW of Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India.

Neither USGS nor EMSC have reported about any of these quakes.

M 2.9 another earthquake recorded in Maharashtra with epicenter in Vamka taluka in Kutch.

Two moderate shallow earthquakes, measuring 4.5 and 4.9 on the Richter scale, strike Gujarat and Maharashtra of India today. First was 7.0 km deep and second one was at 10 km depth.

The first tremor was felt at 8.53am (local time) in Gujarat with the epicenter in Bhuj and two hours later, at 11.05am, another quake was felt with epicenter in Satara district of western Maharashtra.

Tremor was well felt in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Satara and Pune.

No damage or injury reported so far.

The 2001 Gujarat earthquake of a magnitude of between 7.6 and 7.7 killed around 20,000 people (including 18 in South eastern Pakistan), injured another 167,000 and destroyed nearly 400,000 homes.
The epicentre was about 9 km south-southwest of the village of Chobari in Bhachau Taluka of Kutch District of Gujarat, India.
