Update
Got some mail asking if there is any chance of Tsunami by today's quake, let me know you all, the reaction was so fast only because the tremor was widely felt because of its shallower depth. The epicenter is in land and intensity is moderate, so there is NO ANY CHANCE OF TSUNAMI FROM THIS QUAKE.
This blog was first to give information about this quake. Since there was  a post about severe flooding in Fiji Islands which is well indexed in google, so google showed this blog when people searched for earthquake in Fiji 2012/04/27. I was writing the post for today and immediately wrote this post with heading UNCONFIRMED REPORT OF EARTHQUAKE TREMOR FELT IN FIJI ISLAND! The heading was so because there was no any information about this quake on major seismological sites BUT hundreds of people were online on this blog from Fiji.
It is about an hour for this quake but no any information from either USGS or EMSC! Hope they will update soon.
Got so many felt reports from Fiji (look below), thanks to everyone.

Update

  1. Are people advised to move to higher ground in Fiji as there will be little time to issue warnings??

  2. First there was a rumbling then a loud bang (more like an underground explosion)accompanied by tremors, thought that a large object had fallen on the roof of the house.
