M 4.5 another another moderate earthquake recorded after two hours in Kashmir valley with epicenter located 151 km NW of Gilgit, Kashmir.
The two quakes caused panic but there were no any casualty or damage to property

The earthquake tremor was felt as far as Srinagar and rest of Kashmir valley and some parts of Pakistan as well
M 5.6 strong earthquake jolts Northwestern Kashmir (@ 49 km depth) today. The epicenter was located 144 km NW from Gilgit, Kashmir. Luckily the populated area Mingaora is 239 km far from epicenter.
No casualties or damage has been reported so far. People were seen evacuating their homes.
About 9,000 people will have felt moderate shaking of MMI V. People of Khandud will have experienced light shaking of MMI IV. Weak shaking will have felt by the people of Ishkashim, Ashkasham, Khorugh, Gilgit, Murghob, Thal and Dir.
The Kashmir valley or Vale of Kashmir is a valley between Himalayas and the Pir Panjal Range. It is around 135 km long and 32 km wide, formed by the Jhelum River.
M 7.6 deadly earthquake in 2005-10-08 in this region killed about 87,351 people .
