- Deadly Flood in South Eastern Brazil (UPDATED 1/8/2012)
-451 people are homeless, 3093 homes and 56 people were injured, and 5,243 buildings damaged or destroyed by flooding in Brazil
-In all, 24 municipalities face capixabas disorders due to heavy rains in recent days, five of them declared a state of emergency: Domingos Martins, Itarana, Governor Lindemberg, Orange and Ibatiba Earth

15:37 UTC (Local time Monday, January 09, 2012 at 12:37 AM @ epicenter) - M 4.0 light shallow (@ 15 km depth) earthquake in less populated area of Gulkana, Alaska. It will be well felt in Gulkana, Glennallen and Copperville region of Alaska
06:47 UTC (local time Saturday, January 07, 2012 at 09:47 PM @ epicenter) - M 5.0 moderate shallow (@ 23 km depth) earthquake in Northern Xinjiang, China. People of Korla, Xinjiang will have experienced moderate shaking which is located 106 km far from the epicenter. Different teams are on the epicenter area taking data of damage occurred. It is near to Bosten Lake

About 95,000 people have experienced weak shaking of MMI III. People of Coachella, Indio, La Quinta and Salton City will have experienced it well since the epicenter is less than 20 km far from these regions (Category under "Earthquake in Southern California)

00:35 UTC (local time Sunday, January 08, 2012 at 12:35 PM @ epicenter) - M 4.1 moderate shallow earthquake in South Western Serbia, Russia (@ 10 km depth). It will have experienced as a weak shaking in Saryg-sep area (near to epicenter). It is the same area where earlier M 6.6 hit on December 27, 2011 (@ Earthquake in Siberia, Russia)
