we are happy to update that no serious hazards or damages are reported from this patras, Greece earthquake.

Minor damages are reported with falling of bricks
near epicenter area. The epicenter is located just 27 km far from Patras, Greece

EMSC felt report
 
Patrai: Really noisy earthquake, it sounded like a bomb had exploded! Shortly after this noise I felt trembling and heard the usual earthquake noise, so I realized it was an earthquake.
Diakopto: Felt a moderate swaying, furniture moved, run outdoors
Pirgos: Απαλή ταλάντωση, ικανή όμως να με ξυπνήσει. Είχε διάρκεια περίπου 10 δευτερόλεπτα.

 MAx. felt MMI VI, which will cause strong jolt around the epicenter area.

IOG Athen mentions M 4.5 at 10 km depth. The data shown by USGS, EMSC and IOG are different. Actual data yet to come.


UPDATE 18:05 
EMSC updated its magnitude to 5.1 at 5 km depth making it more shallower than earlier. Damage is expected as the epicenter is just below Patras, Greece.


M 5.2 Very shallow earthquake hit Greece today at 17:25 UTC (
07:25:40 PM at epicenter ). The epicenter of this quake is just 27 km far from Patras, Greece. It is just above 1 km E Naúpaktos which population is 13,793. More report yet to come.
EMSC mentions M 4.9 @ 10 km depth.

Greece is one of the world's most earthquake-prone countries, but most quakes are of a small magnitude and rarely cause severe damage or injuries.The last strongest earthquake in Greece was of magnitude 6.4 on 15 July 2008 which killed only one people.
